SANSKRIT- The Mother tongue of Langauges

"Sanskrit" a language born in the terrains of the Indian sub continent is the world's oldest spiritual language. It was documented in Devanagari script which was the earliest script next to the Brahmi script(extinct).
However the exact origin of the language is unknown and always much debated topic.Panini,an ancient scholar developed the grammar for Sanskrit nearly 5,000 years ago. Researchers came to know that Sanskrit is phonetically complex of all the languages. It is estimated that more than 102 Arab words have been composed from this ancient language.
A fine set of languages as Celtic,French,Latin,Spanish,Persian,Gothic and all the Indian languages have their roots in Sanskrit itself.
Tamil is the oldest of all languages, says the Tamil literates.But 74% of the Tamil language is derived from Sanskrit itself.

The endearment towards Sanskrit for Indians is so strong, they have always flaunted about the language even if there is no scientific evidence so far.But the increase in scientific technology and archaeological enthusiasm paved ways to the unanticipated.

The role of Sanskrit in curing mental illness:

A set of words in Sanskrit called "Bheej Akshara" have the power to cure mental illness when recited. The  phonetic feature acts as a speech therapy, sounds funny??

Several schools in Europe have incorporated Sanskrit in their curriculum.St.Xavier's junior school in London conducts annual speech competitions on Sanskrit slokas from Upanishads.

Pronouncing Sanskrit words triggers the Prana(life force) of the individual.

Though Sanskrit is decrepit and under-looked in our country. The language is thriving in European schools since 1975.Universities like Oxford,Edinburgh,Cambridge have departments for Sanskrit.

The german airlines Lufthansa is a Sanskrit word, meaning Luft(extinct) Hansa(swan).

"OM" have a considerable importance in Sanskrit, recently the NASA scientists have recorded the "sound of sun",which is beyond the audible range of humans(20 Hz to 20,000 Hz).And astonishingly a segment of the audio in the first recording is interpreted as sounding "OM".

Is Sanskrit can be used as a programming language???

 Yes,says the computer linguists.

Rick Briggs,a NASA scientist in 1986 released an article stating that Sanskrit can be the only natural language which can be used for programming. And the computer linguists around the world lashed out with biased views. The ambiguity of the language in natural language programming(NLP) was always questioned by the westerners.

Keeping aside the views of Briggs and Artificial Intelligence developers, a research team in India led by Shashank saxena and raghava agarwal have developed an algorithm using the idea of ashtadhyayi(a Sanskrit grammar). They said the grammatical framework implemented by Panini is enough to analyze other languages as well.

Aryan invasion theory (AIT must read) a historic attempt made by the Europeans to snatch the literary knowledge of Indian civilization by plagiarism.

The invention of Sanskrit is made long before Noah as per biblical timeline and Mahabharatha as per Hindu timeline.
The archaeological, astronomical and anthropology evidences in the harappan valley dates back the origin of Sanskrit to 8,000 BC.

"But how such an intellectual language is invented by our primitive ancestors??"

"Allegedly speaking,a highly intelligent alien race have altered our human genetics, when human was a simian creature.Nearly 63 to 65 make ups in our genetic coding have resulted in the modern human"says Robert(Bob) Lazar a physicist in Area 51.

As per Biologists, there is a missing link in the evolution of the man.The alterations in our DNA is still a conundrum.

"Our world was never the same.An elephant was descended from a gigantic mammoth and a smilodon prolapsed in to a tiger. And like wise, our human race may have descended from an intelligent life form(The Gods)".

                            ARYAN INVASION THEORY

Britishers while invading India in 18th century came across the vedic scripts and the Sanskrit language.Tumbled by the magnificent grammatical structure of the Sanskrit language,a committee was setup to speculate a story around Sanskrit, then evolved the "Aryan invasion theory",it was a historic attempt made by the Europeans in the 19th century B.C to take the credit of inventing Sanskrit and the advanced civilization that had flourished in the valleys of ancient India.

Scholars of the nineteenth century, the highly venerated Max Muller is appointed in the committee to makeup a convincing theory.Max Muller, one of many Christian missionaries to India, was firmly committed to the Biblical account of creation. Muller accepted the date of creation given in the Bible at 4004 BC and the great flood at 1500 BC. This compelled him to date the Rig Veda much later in time than an impartial scientist would have done. Muller had to fit the entire Vedic tradition into a time-frame following the great flood, which Biblical scholars held took place in 1500 BC.Muller wrote a letter to his wife, dated 1886, in which he said “The translation of the Veda will hereafter tell to a great extent on the fate of India and on the growth of millions of souls in that country. It is the root of their religion, and to show them what the root is, I feel sure, is the only way of uprooting all that has sprung from it during the last 3,000 years”.These are hardly the words of an unbiased scientist. No matter how great Muller’s scholarly reputation, we have to examine his reasons for setting the dates around 1000 to 12000 BC.

But why did Europeans created AIT?

To many European scholars of the nineteenth century the idea that the family of European languages family could have originated in India was unthinkable. It was just not culturally acceptable to think that the roots of European language and culture could be traced to darker-skinned peoples indigenous to India. So European thinkers began to speculate about a pre-historic “proto-Indo-European” race who had migrated from somewhere in Western Asia, perhaps around the Black Sea, Eastern Europe, or Russia, to settle in India. This, was a purely racial and cultural bias, with no basis in archaeological fact.

Aryans is a race of light skinned, blonde haired. Aryan invaded India from outside around 1,500 BC, pushing the dark-skinned natives, called Dravidians, into the south. This myth persisted long after an overwhelming body of scientific evidence, and a consensus of archeologists, showed that it is completely weak. It must be discredited before we can get an accurate picture of the character of Vedic Civilization.
As we will see, the Veda was first “cognized,” not by invading races from outside India, but by a people who had lived continuously in India for thousands of years.
Also, the dates commonly ascribed to the origin of the Vedic tradition are probably off by many thousands of years. Archeologists at Harvard, Oxford, and other top universities in the US and Europe are now widely agreed that there was no invasion of India from outside that displaced the peoples of the Saraswati and Iudus river valleys. This civilization arose within northern India and there is also evidence, which i will elucidate as we go further.

Sir William Jones was the first to show that there are many common words shared by Sanskrit and European languages. Speaking to the Asiatic Society in Calcutta on February, jones made a statement which was soon to become quite famous: "the Sanskrit language, has a wonderful structure; more perfect than the Greek, more copious than the Latin, and more exquisitely refined than either, yet bearing to both of them a stronger affinity, both in the roots of verbs and in the forms of grammar, than could possibly have been produced by accident; so strong, indeed, that no philosopher could examine them all three".

This is the end of the introduction to AIT. Every syllable of this article is the research of kenneth chandler Ph.D.

This subject is deep and vast, conceiving it in one page is not possible.I will cover the rest in my next article.

Holy Cow - Mother or Meat ??

Modi's government(The no-no government) has recently(in mid 2015) banned the consumption & storage of beef, the slaughter of cows and bulls in India.Few states(kerala, meghalaya, mizoram, tripura, sikkim and arunachal pradesh) were exempted from the ban.And a violator of this ban will be charged with a hefty toll and a long time in prison in some states.

A woman caressing a calf. Image source : Flickr

And this ban has triggered a cold war between the supporters and the non supporters. But the major brawl is between Muslims and Hindus which is a hypersensitive affair. This ban could limit the choices of meat for Muslims. As Muslims cannot eat pork as per Islam, and now if beef is banned goat and chicken will be their only choices. So,they are resisting the ban. From the other side the Hindus who worship the cow are fighting back.

recent tragedy that has taken place in u.p has jolted me(read full story).A man of 50 years (suspected for slaughtering cow after the announcement of ban) is dragged from his house and stoned to death by a mob who are driven in to a frenzy by their religion.

But,How did beef eating habit began in India:

(I don't want to dwell in to the Vedas because, none can live by following the vedic rules in the present day scenario)

I came to know how this beef eating habit began in Hindus in the modern times. In earlier days when the caste system is vastly prevalent in India, most of the lower caste people had to work under the supreme castes since the low caste doesn't have their own fields or land and some times they are offended to have their own land. And in return for their work they were offered meager salaries.Few of these low caste people who were employed to cremate the dead cattle are resorted to eat the dead cattle. And this habit continued to become a cherished delicacy among them and later on became a priority for cheap nourishment.
"So,the habit of beef consumption has its roots in the crude caste system of our country "...Now,whom will you blame!!

The category who are against the ban:

  •  Now coming back to the present situation, many people who are in the beef and tanning industry directly or indirectly have retaliated over the ban.For the vendors and employees it is a struggle for Bread and Butter. Many families who are dependent on this industry will be ruined for sure.

What alternatives did the government offered to these small scale vendors??

  •    Another section of people who think this is the end of democracy, the "tongue category" (food lovers) who are also worried the most.
  •    Now one cannot force a Muslim to eat pork, and cannot compel a Brahman to have beef.It was always their personal choice depending on their religious background and personal interests. But the present ban is strictly one sided.
  •    And the poor who treat beef as a cheap source of nutrition compared to the expensive goat meat are awestruck by this sudden ban.

Anything if prohibited in bit-by-bit will earn fruitful results, but a sudden suppression will be fought back at any cost. And the pockets of the black marketers will become heavy in this pandemonium.

The group which supports the ban:

  • Most of the people wants the ban on the religious grounds and those who are against animal cruelty also support the ban.
  • Protecting an animal from getting slaughtered is a welcoming thing why don't they see it in that perspective?? asks a Blue cross member.
  • Cows provide milk and through which other diary products are prepared,ox provide the power to plough our fields, their dung is used as manure, and they reproduce only by eating grass. You cannot compare a cow with a goat or a hen says a farmer.

But in the middle of all this turmoil i came across a story which everyone must read.
A Muslim family from Maharashtra(read full story) has dedicated their lives to save more than 150 cows from the butcher's knives. They have adopted the old aged cattle which were being sold to the abattoirs by their farmers.

Cow wandering on the road.Image source: Flickr

So,if the government is concerned for the welfare of the cows, stopping the slaughter is not enough. The cattle that swarm the roads should be taken care as well, how many operational cow shelters have they built so far?

Being.the largest producer of milk and the largest exporter of beef, the ban has dragged Indian government to cross roads. But in a secular country like India, the government should not ban things on religious grounds or else these decisions can lead to the bifurcation of communities.

Modi ji,"Bharath desh, rama janma bhoomi tabh banega jabh har insaan ek dhoosre ko izzath dhe sakhe".What kind of respect do they pay to each other, while they are busy in quarreling over meat??

Hunting, slaughtering and feasting on animals is everlasting, man has done it in the past and will continue the same in the future. But the choice always rests with us,to kill or to protect??

Now,

                                Butcher turned Bodyguard

A heart-wrenching story unfolds in a village in Beed, the epicenter of drought in Marathawada, as a Muslim family— belonging to the traditional butchers' community—struggles to take care of their 165-strong cattle herd.
Acute shortage of water and cattle feed is making it difficult for the cattle to survive the drought.
Shabbir's family with their cattle.Image source : Dailymotion
The last hailstorm had claimed the lives of three calves and two cows apart from 12 cows dying within the last five years when the region was under a spell of acute drought.

The family does not own a phone and communication is facilitated by a local scribe Navnath Yewale.
Shabbir and his family is dedicated to their cattle, a tradition initiated by Shabbir’s father Budan Sayyad in the seventies.

The family neither sells milk, nor offers the cow for meat.
The bulls are sold only to local farmers at heavily-discounted prices on a written undertaking that they will not be sold to butchers and will be returned once they are old.

The family makes its living by selling cow dung as manure to farmers which fetches them about Rs 70,000 per year.

The family’s transition, from belonging to the butcher’s community to become the protectors of cattle is interesting.
“My father wanted to overcome the shame of being a Khatik, the term used in villages for butchers.
"He started with two cows that he had saved from the butcher’s knives and began taking care of them,” said Shabbir.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Shabbir purchased 10 cows from a butcher in 1972 and took care of them.
As news spread about this extra-ordinary butcher’s family of Dahiwandi, locals began assigning their aging cattle to their care.

The numbers swelled to the 165 cattle that the family have under their care now. Shabbir’s family, including his wife Ashrabi, sons Ramzan and Yusuf and daughters-in-law Rizwan and Anzum do not consume beef.
Shabbir herds the cattle into the wild to graze on the little vegetation available in the region.

                                     Murder via Religion

A Muslim man was lynched by a mob in Bisada village near Dadri, Uttar Pradesh on 29th sep 2015, following rumours that his family was storing and consuming beef after the government has announced a ban on beef.

The Uttar Pradesh government has ordered an enquiry  on the incident.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Alok Ranjan said the probe would be completed on Wednesday.

Tension prevailed in the area after around 200 persons attacked the residence of Akhlaq after rumours spread in the village that a cow has been slaughtered on Monday night, police said on Wednesday.

The mob allegedly beat 50-year-old Akhlaq to death while his son Danish was critically injured in the attack and is undergoing treatment at a hospital, they said.

The government has announced compensation of Rs. 10 lakh to Akhlaq's family.

Jaan Mohammad, a relative of the victim said, “An announcement was made at a local temple that a cow has been slaughtered here, following which a large number of people attacked our family.”

As the rumour spread, villagers blocked a highway in Bisrakh area yesterday demanding death penalty for those involved in the slaughter. When police tried to control the mob, a clash occured in which one person, identified as Rahul Yadav, was shot at.

An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind.

The Significance of Dasavataras?

In the Hindu mythology, there is a great prominence for the "Dasavatars"( The Ten forms). These are the ten forms of lord Vishnu who is reincarnated as different figures through the Indian timeline.
The ten forms of Dasavatars as per Hindu Puranas. Image source: Flickr

But most people are not aware of the importance of their positions. They were arranged in a particular order through which the evolution of life is depicted accurately thousands of years before Charles Darwin.

Rayar Gopuram in Mahabalipuram
with ten forms sculpted.

In Mahabalipuram a stupa which is carved out of the rock is abandoned as the order of  two avatars(Bala Rama and Rama) are misplaced by the sculptor, this may sound as a folly. But the priests who are aware of the order's prominence didn't entertain the mistake(the mistake cannot be rectified as the temple is carved out of rock,so one misstep could ruin the whole project ).

So why they are so particular about the positions? What is the relation between dasavatars and the evolution of life forms on earth?

Each avatar depicts a particular stage of evolution of a life form on our planet.

Before going into the topic, i hope that most of you are aware that evolution has begun with
invertebrates(spineless beings like insects )which further evolved into vertebrates(beings with spinal cord). The dasavatars start from vertebrates.Fish are the first vertebrates to evolve into larger beings.Let me elucidate the avatars.

1." Matsya avatar":

Matsya avatar denotes the fish which dominated the earth during the certain period of time. Our earth has been swarmed with fish which dominated the planet 350million years ago.

Now the fish transformed into amphibians.

2. Kurma avatar:

This avatar is a turtle which resembles the formation of an amphibian from a sea creature. Scientists discovered that "tilakdaak" fish were the first to leave the water and walk the land.

Now amphibians are evolved into rodent mammals.

3.Varaha avatar:

Varaha means pig. This avatar represents all the rodents which are evolved from the earlier amphibians.Rodents range from tiny squirrels to large boars.Mammals have developed a brain which regulates the body temperature and the circulatory system.

Now the evolution leaped from plant-eating rodents to flesh-eating carnivores.

4.Narasimha avatar:

This form is half man and half lion which look like a hybrid of human and animal. This represents all the carnivores which swarmed the land by preying on other animals flesh.

After this fourth form animals are ignored from description as mankind has evolved in to a dominant being.

5.Vaamana avatar:

Vaamana is a dwarf-like being. This form represents the "Neanderthals" who are the ancestors of homo sapiens, they have 100 cc more volume of the brain than the modern human. The Avatar holds stick and pottery in his hands depicts the ability of the species to invent tools for his need.

Next comes the 6.Parasu Rama:

This figure holds an axe in his hand which shows that the humans learned to extract the metals from ores around them, with which they invented tools and weapons. This age can be compared with the period when human continued to exploit the metals.for eg: iron age, bronze age etc.

7.Lord Rama:

Rama holds a bow and an arrow in his hands, it shows the use of advanced weapons by humans in the field of hunting and in self-defense.

"One man one wife" "standing by the word" "family values".The entire story behind this avatar rotates around how man developed importance for culture, family, society and morale.

8.Bala Rama:

Bala Rama holds a Plough in his hand representing the era in which humans learned to cultivate his own crops for food and also developed agricultural techniques.

9."Sri Krishna":

The great manipulator, street smart, politician.Sri krishna is a witty and charming character.Used his wit against others to defeat them.He uses a weapon called "vishnu chakra" a revolving disc which once thrown will return to him, which signifies the use of technology in the ancient world.Sri Krishna used a flute to lure gopikas and to control vast herds of cattle, convey the development of musical instruments during his period.

Most of the modern historians have penned "Buddha" as one of the dasavataras , but as it is completely untrue and this misconception should be put away.

So far, we came across 9 of the 10 forms.
The last and the final form is the "Kalki", which means "Destroyer and Deliverer" in Sanskrit.

Kalki statue
Kalki form is described as a being with a horse face and the body of a human. There is a belief that vishnu will take the form of kalki at the end of kaliyug,he is an extra terrestrial entity or an alien to our mankind(as per ancient astronaut theorists). He will have a third eye(activated pineal gland) and can differentiate good from the bad by looking at it.kalki is not one but many. They will invade our planet and slaughter all those who are immoral and sinful just like the way it is explained in the Bible about the "judgement day"

Indian mythology is accurate & precise about the evolution, which is illustrated through the dasavatars. We Indians under look our mythological beliefs but simultaneously westerners are examining our historic scripts with great enthusiasm.

The die glocke, a space craft designed
during 3rd riech(bearing the swastik symbol used by
nazi Germany)

I can provide a historical example on how other countries benefited from our Puranas.

Project: Wunderwaffe- Germany during the 3rd regime.
Germany during the 3rd reich under the leadership of Adolf Hitler experimented the theories of our historic scripts like "vaimanika sastra" to create weapons of mass destruction and flying saucers during the world war-2 period.
The "Die Glocke" Nazi bell, a space craft.its design is inspired from the shape of the gopuras of Hindu temples. The die glocke when commissioned found out to be the best aerodynamically stable design beyond Mach speeds.

I am not boasting about the Hindu mythology, but i want everyone to be aware of the fact that a colossal expertise has existed in our past which is to be acknowledged.

I regret the blurred images.

Can India ban the "Inner porn"??

In July of 2015 supreme court of India while replying to a petition filed by the ministry of telecom said blocking pornographic  websites would be a breach to personal liberty as a person of legal age chooses to watch it within four walls.

And the "Cause Cèlèbre".
Tweet of an Indian reacting to Ban on porn in India.Image source:Flickr
Modi’s government ordered all the ISPs (Internet service providers) to ban over 800+ sites on Aug  3rd 2015. And a silent volcano has erupted inside all the porn viewers in India. But
surprisingly the ban was revoked as the results were futile and the government has faced vast criticism. And the ban lasted for less than a week.

But India is not the first one to ban pornography.

Countries those banned porn:
China ,Ukraine,South Korea,Bangladesh,Botswana,Sudan, Egypt,South Africa,Papa new guinea, Latin America, Guyana and many more.

Countries were porn is liberal:
U.S.A,Australia,New Zealand, Russia, U.K, Italy, Hungary, France and in Canada 33% tax is levied.
In these countries porn is legalized and possession of pornographic contents is illegal below 18years.

The Reasons behind banning porn in India as per the government:
1. These sites cannot be monitored(because of the massive volume of data) all the time and could help in spreading anti-social activities.
2. These sites are encouraging child pornography which increases child abuse rates.
3. And the productivity of our Indian youth is being side tracked.

But,how helpful is banning pornography?? As we all were surrounded by it every day of our life.I recite a funny but important line from a book , it says “sex is the strongest motivation on our planet” and any alien would be blown away by looking at our AD campaigns.

And PETA(people for the ethical treatment of animals) has campaigned in an absurd way to say “NO” to the fur based products with naked celebrities posing.

Internet porn can be banished but how can you ban the "mental porn" which is the severest??
1.Can you stop a stranger from fantasizing an unknown girl from the street.
2.How can you stop a sex craving man from molesting his own child.
3.How many theatres in our country are strictly implementing the CBFC "U"&"U/A" certificate guidelines for movies with overwhelming romance?
4.Can you stop a man from committing honour killings??
5.What about the criminals who are unaware of porn? This is the problem which government should care about like the accused in "NIRBHAYA'S RAPE CASE" who are unfamiliar with internet porn.

We ourselves are overlooking  dangerous sexual behaviour in our everyday lives but over reacts on secret porn and today we made it more public than ever.

A study is done by the university of hawaii "the correlation between child porn and child abuse".The studies say,the sex crimes has come down after the availability of child pornography on the internet. The porn has sufficed the hunger of many future criminals( the pornography is liberal and they are made with actors who are within legal age limit).

And WHY DO YOU WANT TO BAN PORN?

Because your adolescent son is knowing too much about sex? So do you want him to remain celibate? And in the worst cases he can get infected with STDs. And when would he learn about "sex"?? This is India we don't have the "father-son/mother-daughter talk" about sex like in western countries.
All those assaults on women and child abuses before internet...how can we justify those?

Banning porn cannot be the solution.Things like porn will always find their way,"a millipede will not limp because of one missing leg".Rather than banning it,promote more sexual awareness, how many websites are available in India that promote sex awareness?Encourage sites which were doing so.I don't think our government is inept.

And at least from now elders should educate the younger generation to respect women from their character but not their dress.

Balloon or a condom, there is no distinction in darkness.Image source:Reuters.com

If u want to banish internet porn and feel rest is assured,Bravo!!But what about the porn which is deeply rooted in our minds over time. Can u put a ban on that? Can you ban the mental porn?

Now,
What is your comment??
